      The twin-screw extruder is a key equipment for producing modified starch, and its structure consists of several parts, including a transmission device, a feeding device, a material barrel, and two parallel screws. Compared with single screw extruders, twin screw extruders have higher work efficiency and better product quality. In the production process of modified starch, a twin-screw extruder uses the rotation and shear action of two screws to mix starch and water into a material barrel for high-temperature and high-pressure treatment. This processing method can cause starch molecules to undergo denaturation, thereby changing their original properties.
