How Is The Self-Heating Rice Made?
The rice in self-heating rice, often called recombined rice, compound rice or reconstituted rice, is not raw natural rice but a specially processed product that balances convenience, taste and shelf life. Its production process is a precise industrial operation, ensuring that it can be quickly heated and restored to a soft and palatable state without the need for stoves, microwaves or electricity.
The production starts with raw material selection and pretreatment. High-quality rice is the main raw material, and some products may add a small amount of wheat or konjac flour to adjust texture and taste. First, the selected rice is thoroughly cleaned by a rice washing device to remove impurities, dust and broken grains, ensuring food safety from the source.
