Instant Corn Flour Production Process

Instant corn flour is mainly produced via extrusion technology for good instant solubility. First, corn is cleaned and screened to remove impurities, then mixed with auxiliary materials like rice in proportion. The mixed materials are sent to a twin-screw extruder, where starch gelatinizes under high temperature, high pressure and shear force, and fully cooks after instantaneous pressure relief. Then the semi-finished products are dried to reduce moisture, cooled by air, and ground into 80-120 mesh fine powder. After screening to remove coarse particles, optional ingredients like sugar or nutrients are added and mixed evenly. Finally, the powder is automatically packaged into bags or cans. This process features high efficiency, short production cycle, and easy absorption of the finished product, suitable for large-scale industrial production.
